Native Linux

Native Linux is the next planned independent host profile, beginning with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS on amd64. It is not available today and does not block the Mac commercial-v1 release.

The native-Linux path is separate from the Ubuntu guest used by Windows + WSL2. It requires its own signed package, service lifecycle, trusted ingress, update, rollback, and physical-iPhone verification.

There is no native-Linux customer package or download URL today. Do not install an engineering .deb, source archive, or WSL2 package on the assumption that it is a customer Linux release.
